If neither exercise nor herbal teas are having the desired effect, well don’t lose heart, there are plenty of other things for you to try. Try and set aside a few minutes a day in a quiet place and practice meditation. This ancient art of relaxation has been practiced for centuries and fans swear by it.

Music is an incredibly powerful medium, and lying down in a room with music playing in the background will relax both your body and mind. If you fancy being a bit more adventurous learn to play an instrument. Your stress levels will fall to an all time low and you will have accomplished something as well.

All of these techniques have been proven to reduce stress levels and promote relaxation. Choose one and stick to it, don’t chop and change as you won’t do enough to feel the benefits. The only one that can be used in combination with another one is the tea drinking for obvious reasons.
