The Law of Receiving: We will continue to draw into life what we give and expect to receive.
In order to receive you must be willing to give. You can’t give only to receive but you must know that you will receive. Giving opens up the thought of abundance and eliminates the thought of scarcity. When we know that there is an abundance of something we are not afraid to give.
The Law of Receiving has two parts. The first is to be willing to give freely. The second is to be willing to receive the blessings that come your way through unselfish giving. In order to receive we must be willing to give. This applies to all areas of our lives not just money.
The mistake that most people make is to work the law of receiving in reverse. They wait until they receive before they are willing to give. It will not work that way. You must be willing to give unselfishly and then you will start to receive. We need to give in a specific manner in order to maximize your returns. No matter whether we are giving away or time, efforts or money in order to help others we must work to make sure we are giving to those who are most deserving. Avoid giving to those who are parasites or loafers. Focus your efforts on those who are willing to help themselves.
When we give it is best done in a way that is organized and systematic. You will want to avoid giving in way that is haphazard or sporadic. If you are going to give 10%, than give 10% regularly. If you want to give more or less make that decision and then do what you are going to do on a regular basis.
One of the other ways that we are able to apply the law of receiving is to apply it to our business lives. Focus on giving our clients and customers something of value in the services and products that we provide to them. Go above and beyond what is expected. Think to yourself “How can I provide the best value possible to my customers and / or clients?” When we do this, the money will take care of itself.
Once you have given, then you need to be prepared to receive. This shows the faith that you have. Being ready to receive strengthens your expectation and removes any doubt and fear. An example of letting go would be the area of goals and dreams. Have you ever heard anyone say “Let go and let God?” What this means is that we should do is to everything we can towards our goal and then release any anxiety about how things will turn out. There is a power in this universe that much more powerful and much more able to give us a favorable result. Just like when you go to a fine restaurant for a meal. Once you have placed your order you sit back an relax.
Prepare yourself to receive by having the mindset of being receptive. Do the little things that you are able to prepare to receive the desires or your heart. If you want a particular house and you have done everything possible and the result is still unknown. You can start preparing to receive the home by beginning to pack your belongings to move or by buying certain items for the new home.
Remember first give without being selfish. Next prepare yourself to receive your desires.
